Taken

The trailer of Taken uses many narrative techniques. In the beginning of the movie it shows Liam Neeson's daughter travelling to Paris with her best friend which is the equilibrium.  The Propp's character theory, we have a clear protagonist or hero which is Liam Neeson. In many ways he is shown to be the most stronger character and it is his job to try get his daughter back. Propp's talks about the human traffickers which are the people who kidnapped his daughter. In the movie it shows that they're evil and want women for prostitution
